Trust your Intuition

Greetings Beloved Ones!

There is an old song that says, "I have a feeling everything is going to be alright!". Have you ever wondered where those "feelings" come from? And can you really trust them!?

Thank God, we all have an intuitive component to our makeup. However, we may not rely upon it or trust it's validity very often. That may be because we have not developed it or given ourselves plenty of avenues for it expression. We usually go to outside sources first, or we distrust our own knowing.

It is time to free up our minds; to unlock the inner wisdom within. And, to do so on a regular basis. The more we allow our creative and inspired juices to flow, the more our intuition will grow.

Here are some Action Steps:
. Allow yourself some time to just let your mind drift. (sort of pitting for the mind).
. Journal whatever comes to mind
. Try writing for five minutes without taking your pen off of the paper.

The questions for the day are:
. How do you tell the difference between your ego's voice and your higher voice? And is there a difference?
. How do you hear the voice of God or Spirit?
. How do you still your mind and listen to the voice within that is connected to your Higher Self or Spirit?

I have a feeling that everything will be alright! Make it a great day!!

  1. I believe that GOD speaks to us all the time, we just don't listen ALL the time. I think that when we get jacked up or in a jam is when we open up all the avenues to here what GOD has to say to us. I posted on my facebook Health and Wellness Cafe the following Health and Wellness Cafe Start your day by asking GOD, What would you have me do? GOD speaks to you through your intuition Jesus said be like little children and what do little children do? They dream, they play & they IMAGINE extraordinary things, those are seeds planted by GOD and made manifest through GOD, GOD will answer your prayers, the question is will you listen to what GOD tells you do?

I was asked what did I want to be when I was a little girl, and I remember wanting to be a singer. That was in my spirit at like 5 or 6 yes old. I would sing all around the house all the time, my mother would say to may what would it take to get you to keep quite for 15 minutes I remember this like it was yesterday. Then I was asked to think about what I do today do I sing NO not in public anyway, but what I do do is I use my voice. So sometimes we may not get the specifics down pat but the intention is there if we pay attention.

I have learned that GOD'S delays are not GOD'S denials, what I have to do is my part by starting my day asking GOD what would you have me do? And at the end of the day, asking GOD did I do a good job? That keeps me tuned in, tapped in, and turned onto that GOD vibration.

  2. I think the difference between my ego’s voice and my higher voice if that the higher voice feels like a “knowing,” not a decision or a guess. There are no doubts in my “knowings.” I simply stop any activity (even if only for a moment), think of God and then ponder the issue/question. I’ve learned to trust that what I am led to do is Divine guidance - and I am grateful.

I always valued my gut sense about things, even when I let circumstances hinder me from following those feelings. When I learned the concept that intuitions are Divine messages, the idea felt like a “knowing” to me. I like the idea of spiritual protection. This lesson goes on to describe the intuition as knowledge derived from the mind’s reflection on itself. I get that, but I choose to think of it as the big Mind. Beyond having a source from impressions of the experience of the body, the senses, the feelings, the imagination - The Mind’s reflection is of our Spirit’s all-knowingness.

  3. How do I tell my ego from my higher self? For me, feelings play a very important role in determining whether the voice I hear is my ego or my higher voice. With my ego, the voice is usually felt in the head area, whereas with my higher self, it comes from a deep place in the area of my heart. Is there a difference in the the two? Yes, the ego always speaks of fear, vanity and doubt. The higher self is always calm, encouraging, positive, loving and only suggests a course of action. But there comes with the higher self a stillness that cannot be described in words.

There are many outer ways that God uses, to speak to me, but the most reliable way is through MEDITATION. For me, there are two levels of meditation. First, the passive listening in the Silence of my Being , in a quiet place, where all outside interference are blocked out. Second, the active meditation that is used while on my feet, when faced with an emergency and in need of quick guidance.

For the first level, I still my mind by sitting in a quiet place and visualizing myself sitting in a white bubble of light, while saying a prayer of protection to keep out all negative thoughts and forms. I then use the words: Peace Be still or NAMASTE', over and over until I am completely relax. I then focus on my chest area and allow myself to peacefully go into the SILENCE where I listen to the voice of the God of my Being. With practice, consistency and a desire to go within, it becomes like a second nature. As this technique was mastered and tailored to my personality, it became easier and easier to hear the inner voice. The second form of meditation, which is an active technique while standing on my feet is used when faced with urgent emergencies. The bubble of light and prayer of protection is done in lightening speed. I then used the words I AM or NAMASTE' to quieten myself to listen for the guidance I am seeking to address the situation.

Because of Wednesday's class, I have decided to share this knowledge rather than hide my light under a bush. I lovingly share this and respect your free will to use and accept this information or reject it. If this can assist just one person on his journey into the inner kingdom, then these small pearls shall not have been given in vain.
    NAMASTE'

  4. For me, the difference between my ego’s voice and my higher voice (Divine Spirit) is that the ego is fear based, critical, judgmental and the lowest vibration. When my ego is paramount, I feel anxious.

My higher voice is loving, creative, peaceful, aware, and intuitive. I feel joyous energy connecting with my higher voice.

I’m getting better at recognizing when the ego appears, I say STOP and SHIFT. I stop the fear chatter and shift to love. As I shift my vibration, I immediately feel the peace and guidance from Spirit.

  5. Thank you Fisher,
Your meditation technique, really speaks to me and I will surely try it. Your willingness to share this was a very loving act and I'm sure it will speak to more souls than myself. Be Blessed.
